Nick and Meghan came out to Sebastopol to see me the other night for their Maternity Session! I could not be more honored. I have photographed their engagement @ Bartholomew Park, the wedding @ The Ranch at Lake Sonoma , and now another chapter beginning. They are so precious together and complement each other completely. I cant wait to see them as new parents! This is part of why I love what I do! To be included in these special moments is the best!
We had some catching up to do since the wedding at The Ranch at Lake Sonoma in 2020! It was great to hear all about their new home, and how the Nursery is going to be set up for baby Ryan. Yes a little boy, Nick is over the moon. Well Meghan is to, their giddy smiles made this session so easy and fun!
Meghans bracelet from her grandmother! I love when clients share special keepsakes, I make sure to get a close of them.
The apple blossoms and wildflowers are not putting on the show they did last year! Im still getting to know when things are supposed to be blooming and figuring out how to plan around them! Last years crop was sooo pretty!
None the less it still made for a beautiful backdrop and Meghans green dress went perfectly with the light from golden hour!
I love when clients trust me and my wild ideas! Sometimes they work, sometimes not so much :)
Here was one of them from out in the orchard. Probably not a framer, but kinda cool.
Speaking of framing! What do we do with all of these images?
Do we pick one to frame, or build a wall little collage?
Maybe an album for the coffee table?
Or an acrylic block for the desk?
How would you best like to go back and look at your images?
Personally I love the albums we have created over the years, but then having something on the wall as a reminder when walking by is great to!
I would love to hear your thoughts?
