Class of 22 Santa Rosa High School Basketball Player
I had a fun afternoon with Santa Rosa High school Senior David last week taking his senior portraits. We met at the SRJC right next door to his high school, and walked around looking for good backdrops. I love this location for its versatility, and all of its native Sonoma County landscaping. We found fun colorful grasses, the tall Oaks and all sorts of shrubs and vines.
We looked for locations where I could be taller than David, he's a foot taller then me. :) I think we were successful in finding a few. Mostly steps and half walls, but they did the trick.
The SRJC also offers a variety of architectural details. Lots of brick and stone which seems to work well for all Seniors.
How many different ways can we use a brick wall?
Funny story, David forgot his pants and had to stop at the store across the street. Planning tip #20 pack your car the day before. I appreciate the way he handled it and didn't seem to bothered that his pants weren't something he would usually wear.
I think we got some natural looking smiles, when David laughed at my jokes. Thanks for that David! :)
We also got some natural expressions when he talked about his favorite hobby Basketball, I cant wait to catch a couple of games this upcoming winter season.
Thank you to his mom Amanda for tagging along! I love the behind the scenes photos.
I also think this one below is pretty cute!
