I knew my husband was going to go crazy over this car just from the way it sounded when Rylan pulled up! It looks like its straight out of a Chevy commercial! Look at this bad boy! It sounds just as cool too!
I felt so much pride for him, having worked and saved to buy such an amazing car! (Im a little sentimental :)
So of course we did lots of portraits with his car! I don't think it bothered Rylan on bit! We even moved it and parked strategically for the best light.
And yes Kerr Loved it!!! He had all sorts of questions that I would have never thought of LOL! What is it about loud engines that guys like? I guess you could ask the same about me and pretty little things that sparkle :)
Parking Lot M at Sonoma State University on a weekday evening, when there are no events going on at the Green Music center is usually a wide open space to create beautiful portraits of cars + their kids.
Here we also took advantage of the amazing light to photograph his class ring that had luckily come in the mail the day before. It says Analy, because that was the name of the school up until his senior year. And it will be reverting back next year! Its also sentimental because his mom and aunties are all Alumni.
After all of our time with the car we crossed the bride into the trees by the pond, another favorite location! Always soft flattering light can be found.
Next up the butterfly garden. No butterflies were found :( but there are some great logs and benches to ensure we get those sitting down and close up shots.
Kind of coincidental that I choose Sonoma State to take Rylans Senior Portraits, as that is where he will be starting collage in the fall. Majoring in Electrical Engineering, and able to stay close to home. I look forward to hearing all about it!
