Elegant Napa Summer Wedding
Elena and Tyler traveled all the way from the east coast to celebrate their wedding at the world renowned CIA Copia campus in downtown Napa. The CIA is a world premier culinary college, that offers Bachelor degrees in culinary arts and baking or pastry arts. To say the food is amazing is an understatement! If you consider yourself a foodie this place is a MUST try!
The afternoon started just a few blocks down the street at the Archer Hotel, a Chic Urban Boutique Hotel right in the heart of downtown Napa. This seems to be a popular hotel as a few clients of mine have stayed there this year. The rooms are clean bright and modern. The roof top is AMAZING! there is a restaurant, bar, spa, and a water deck to complete this grown up play ground. I cant wait to stay here someday.
Ok back to our beautiful couple! Immediate family and a handful of very close friends helped Tyler and Elena get ready. Tyler was super stylish and smart in a simple linen shirt, those east coasters know how to beat the heat! Elenas ivory dress fit perfectly and somehow laid just right every time we put the train down.
The couple opted for a 1st look which we choose to do inside of their beautiful room as it was a little warm outside. Because the couple choose to do a 1st look were able to do family photos before the ceremony.
The ceremony took place in the amphitheater at CIA, where everyone had plenty of space and the pathway gave everyone a beautiful view of the happy couple. Heartfelt promises were renewed and a personal story of their journey was shared by Elenas good friend and officiant Lindsey.
After the cheers and a walk back down the isle as husband and wife, the couple celebrated at their cocktail hour. Specialty drinks were made for each of them and Ivy Hill Entertainment played in a five piece band to entertain the crowd.
A five course meal was served family style at one long table in the garden. Every thing delicious and picture perfect. Toast were given wine glasses were full and clinked together on a perfect napa evening.
Right before their main course was served we slipped away for about 15 mins to chase the sun before it dipped behind the building. The garden offered a delightful backdrop for golden hour photos, it was so fitting for the relaxed vibe of the day. We also ran upstairs to the Chuck Williams Culinary Arts Museum. This is also a MUST see! We were amazed! It it gave Tyler and Elena a very private moment to relax and have a little fun just the two of them!
After dinner guest were escorted back to the band to enjoy some dancing, dessert and coffee!
Congratulations Tyler and Elena, may you have many happy years of amazing meals and wine surrounded by loved ones!
