Is it a full moon? Is Venus or mercury in retrograde? Something is in the air! Maybe it is just the sweetness of young love! I cried at least 5 times on Saturday during the Anders Wedding at Spring Hill Estates in Tomales Ca. Being married myself at a very young age I have a special place in my heart for young love! That must have been it!
We started with all of the girls getting ready in their matching silk outfits. And a surprise 1st look with all of Leah's bridesmaids after her mom helped her get into her stunning dress!
Im not sure who had more fun, but my money might be on the boys who just got to chill and play a favorite board game before getting ready! Thomas was a cool as a cucumber slipping into his Navy 3 piece suit.
I love, love, love! when a couple decides to do a first look! The moment is always so sweet! It gives a few minutes of time, just the two of you! A few minutes to get those tears out, to hug, to just be together.
Formal bridal party photos were a breeze with this bridal party! The small barn at Spring Hill Estates is the cutest backdrop! We also took a few minutes to capture these sweet images with Leah and her parents.
A sweet little ceremony at the grassy knoll followed by cocktail hour with fried Mac n Cheese balls were next up on the itinerary. And then a semi private 1st dance with their bridal party watching before the grand announcement. The big barn is the perfect location to use my big profoto B12, I just love the results I get from it every time! Especially with the special dances. Check below :)
Pasta dinner from the Washoe House catering was served, speeches were done, and all in perfect timing for my favorite time of night! Sunset photos! We really lucked out as there was a giant bank of fog teasing us all day long!
After sunset, cake cutting and dance floor party were the perfect way to end the night! We caught this sweet little moment with the party in full swing behind them.
